The white color of the cat is usually associated with deafness.  But how true is this theory?  A white kitten with a colored genetic spot (with tufts of hair on its head) has a very good chance of not being deaf.  This is because the white gene is in this case in the heterozygous state (it’is a vector of color) And it is for this reason that this tuft of hair on the kitten’s head is very important for a breeder.  Furthermore, the commercial will be destined to fade with growth.  So it shouldn’t disturb you as if it were a defect, but rather it should reassure you about the kitten’s hearing ability.
